First Principles Qualifications
You’re not an average developer. Average is for averages.

You go throw the cost/benefit analysis with any tech direction you provide.
Technical Qualifications
You’ll work on our web app, the API and the backend.
You should have prod-level working experience in dynamically-typed language (e.g. React-flavors, NestJS, typescript, python, etc) and 1+ years in statically typed languages (e.g. Java or Go)
You worked in a client-server environment using a RESTful API or GraphQL.
You know how to version your APIs and how backward compatibility works.
Know your way around AWS technologies. You don’t have to know every single thing though.
Experience building scalable backend and web services.
Bonus if you have
Cloud experience (not literally.) Literally, you worked with AWS, GCP, Azure before.
Understand handling context and state management (e.g. Redux.)
Know your way around frontend technologies like: caching, compression, minimization.
Worked in unit testing and UI testing technologies (e.g. Selenium.)
Understanding Dependency Injection (DI) and Inversion of Control (IoC) architectures.
Worked with microservices before and know their bottlenecks and how to resolve them.
You now how Infra-as-code (IaC) works and you deploy your own code. A great engineer is DevOps at heart. You think end to end when designing a system/feature.
